Book 2 Clara
Elizabeth Laird

This book is a story is about a girl called Clara. She is a girl that lives with an old lady and her son Henry. She works for the old lady, and everything Clara does is wrong. One night says the old lady to Clara ``don´t go to bed, wait for my son``. Clara was so tired and she almost fell a sleep. The lady´s son came home late that night and he was drunk as usually. He fainted infront of her. Clara had never liked Henry. The lady came down the stairs and looked angry at Clara, like it was her fault. ´´What have you done with my son, she asked angry as usually, and Clara told the old lady how lazy she was, and that she can clean her own house now. Clara went to the door and got out in the city. It was nice to be free, she tought. All her things and clothes were in the lady´s house, but it was to late to get them now. Clara was on her way to her friend, but she couldn´t stay there for more then five days, so Clara had to find an new job.
Claras friend knew a lady that needed a cleaner, so she decided to get a job there. But the old lady that she has been working for before came to the place and said to the lady that Clara was really lazy. Clara tried to get  another job but she couldn´t find somewhere to search for one. Then she saw an ad about working in Amerika for two years, and the trip to the US was free, so she decided to do that.
Clara and her friend were staying outside the boat, Claras friend gave her something. It was money, she said ``You can pay back when you come home again``. And her friend turned around and went home again. This is the biginning of Claras story.
